I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Dictionary – Peace – freedom from disturbance; Tranquility; absence of war.
‘Biblical peace is more than just the absence of conflict; it is taking action to restore a broken situation. It’s more than a state of inner tranquility; it’s a state of wholeness and completeness. Biblical peace is not something we can create on our own; it is a fruit of the Spirit.’ (Copied from the internet.)
In the midst of great trials and heartaches we can have peace, God’s peace. It’s not what the world offers. Is your health failing, have you lost a loved one, are you needing a job? Do you have enough money to pay your bills? Whatever your need, in all these situations, you can have the peace of Jesus.
Jesus is called the Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6); Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. (2 Thessalonians 3:16A); And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. (Roman’s 16:20A); Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. (Isaiah 26:3).
God brings us peace when our lives are in turmoil.
