Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
The disciples were praising God for all the miracles they had seen. They were praising Jesus! He was riding on a colt that had never been ridden. They knew He was Lord and King. This has been called the triumphant ride into Jerusalem! All kinds of people were praising Him. Some praised Him because of the miracles. Some KNEW He was the Messiah and praised Him. But He knew in less than a week that many would be yelling: Crucify Him!
What about us? Do we praise Him one day and doubt Him the next? Ask God for consistency in our faith, even in the dark times. He is always the same.
