Psalm 100: 2 – 4

Psalm 100:2-4 Review
Serve the Lord with gladness: Come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

What wonderful verses to memorize. Dr. Fretz loved this Psalm. He quoted it frequently. We can be happy serving the Lord. Do you sing when you’re happy? God made us and we are his sheep. I’m not sure that’s a compliment, because sheep need lots of care and guidance from the shepherd. That’s how it is with God and us. We need to constantly follow His leading or get sidetracked into the wrong path. And we can be thankful and give praises in His presence. We serve a mighty God!
Don’t feel like singing, praising, or being thankful? Obey His Word and the feeling will come.
