Have you ever felt abandoned by God after you have sinned? It’s not that God leaves us, but we feel the guilt of what we’ve done and think God leaves us.
The Holy Spirit is working in us, showing us our sin. If this wasn’t so, we wouldn’t have remorse.
David sees what he has done and knows how wrong it was. He is afraid God will leave him. But Hebrews 13:5 says differently. And also Psalm 94:14.
We have an awesome God who loves us. Confess quickly and restore your relationship with your Father.
