Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; And that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me : and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Both these verses are talking about salvation which is a free gift from God. We don’t earn it. Christ paid the ultimate price with His life. We have nothing to brag about. And now we can live because Jesus died for us and lives in us.
These verses are great to have in the back pocket of your mind to bring out when needed. Have you memorized them?
