Romans Road
Romans 3:23 All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8 But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Paul wrote the book of Romans. Someone laid out the scriptures for the Romans Road. These verses form an easy, systematic way of explaining the gospel of salvation.
A beautiful teaching of our sin and God’s redemption. These are picked to help us lead others to Christ. First of all it let’s us know that we are ALL sinners. No pointing fingers, no comparing whose sin is worse. Second, it let’s us know that our sin will lead to death, but God has provided a way out. It is an awesome gift from God. Thirdly, it shows us God’s love.
While we were still in our sins, Jesus died for us. A horrible death by crucifixion. All the suffering and agony that He went through for you, and me. We didn’t have to do anything to obtain this gift. And lastly, calling on God, acknowledging our sin, believing God for our salvation.
Praise His glorious name!
